Knob Creek Machine Gun Shoot Fall 2016

The Knob Creek Machine Gun Shoot is something that our family looks forward to and waits (not so patiently) for every year for the past 4 years. It’s one of those experiences that you never forget, one that brings smiles to your face for a lifetime!

Imagine waking up in your tent to a Huey flying over; eating bacon and eggs cooked over a fire while you can hear the buzz of machine guns in the background; walking around and looking at guns that were used throughout the history of America and the world; browsing through the inventory of 100s of  vendors and collectors; being in a crowd of fellow Americans who love guns and our freedoms to have them just as much as you do; hearing the blast of the cannon going off and feeling the percussion of it down to your core: This is the Knob Creek Machine Gun Shoot!

Check out the video above to see some of our footage from this year’s fall machine gun shoot!

Best 22LR Handgun For Beginners

See what Breann has to say about the Ruger 22/45 Lite, the best handgun for beginners (and it’s also a blast for seasoned professionals as well!). We didn’t mention this in the video but this gun comes at a great value including an extra mag, a rail for optics and it’s threaded for a suppressor. You can pick it up for around $420.00.

I think this may be one of our new favorites and we will be used for everything from training to competitions!

Fire Lance History of the Gun

Ever wonder where our modern day firearms originated, or who figured out how to shoot projectiles out of a barrel? Check out the video above to see our version of the “fire lance”, the first known firearm. Make sure to comment below and let us know what you think!

What historic firearm would you like to see us fire next???

Check out this awesome build that Travis Whitney from Wicked Air Rifles custom built for us here at shooter1721. It is a .30 cal Marauder stripped completely down to the receiver and rebuilt with all custom parts. It is currently a single shot, but Travis has a clip in this works for us as we speak! Click the link above to see some footage of Rick putting this rifle into action.

If you’re looking for some custom work, you can reach out to Travis on his website at http://www.wickedairrifles.com
